- Upon confirmation of the receipt of funds, you will be emailed your unique Trading Account Number (TAN) and your unique Identification Code (IC) which you will use to complete the sign-up process.
- Upon activation, you can now start trading.
How much is required to open an online trading account?
Minimum Initial Deposit is 25,000 PHP.
How much are the fees and charges?
- Buying Commission Fee: 1/4 of 1% of gross value or a minimum commission charge of 20 pesos
- Selling Commission Fee: 1/4 of 1% of gross value or a minimum commission charge of 20 pesos
VAT: 12% of commission fee

I forgot my login ID, how do I retrieve it?
Clients who forgot their ID will have to contact us at (632) 634-6931 to 36 to get their username.
I forgot my password, how do I retrieve it?
Clients will have to click on the “forgot password” and follow the on-screen steps. They may also ask MSI to reset their password and a system generated password will be sent to their email.
Can I change my password and PIN?
Clients can easily change their Password/PIN as many times as they want. After they have signed in, click on the Change Password or Change PIN link found on the upper right hand section of the website.
Can I have a traditional account and an online account in Meridian?
Clients who wish to trade can only maintain either a traditional or an online account. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) suggest so to prevent wash sales.
Is there an account maintenance fee?
No, but each account should trade at least 480,000 PHP every six (6) months ending June and December.
What if I dont meet the minimum trade requirements?
Failure to trade with the minimum required trading activity will lead to suspension of account.

How can I reactivate my account?
Clients who wish to reactivate account should call the helpdesk at (632) 634-6931 and pay 1,200 PHP.
I have stock certificates of a listed company in PSE. How can I trade them?
Trading in the PSE is now in scripless form and certificates should be lodged in order to trade them. Stock certificates will be submitted to the transfer agent for clearing and then lodged to Philippine Depository and Trust Corporation (PDTC) which can take from a week to several weeks depending on the speed of processing.

This process is called Upliftment. This process might take a minimum of 30 days depending on the issuer’s Stock Transfer Office. You will need to fill out a Request for Stock Upliftment Form and submit thru either of the ff:
